As a result of the Smartstation development for Apligraf, in Windows environment, and the spreading of the Java technology in 1996, combined with the beginning of the operations of the AG Sistemas in the Internet, it was natural that one of our first works in this area has been to combine the experience of graphical analysis with Java and Internet.

Thus, one of our first works in this area was a Java applet that presents dynamic graphs, loading data directly from the server in real time, the “jgraflin”. It is still in operation until today, either in the Apligraf’s web site, either in its diverse customers..

In 1997 we produce a complete desktop version of the system in Java, which drew the market’s attention as an innovative technology that we were invited to present it in an SUN’s event, at the USP (São Paulo), 1998.
