Digital Photography

To build its digital photography solution, Digipix entrusted its efforts technology to AG Sistemas. Since the software’s definition, up to the equipment, datacenter and infrastructure definitions, AG Sistemas was also responsible for the development of all the web software in PHP, and also the systems that they execute in desktops of the professional photographers and the final users.

Moreover, to make possible a complete experience of the user in the Web, the AG Sistemas developed for the Digipix an ActiveX for photos upload and another one for photos edition in real time to be installed and used in the Internet Explorer 6 and 7.

The upload component was also developed in Java, targeting users who do not use the platform Windows/Internet Explorer.

For the users of Windows Vista, we also develop a complete integrated solution with the Online Print Wizard - OPW, allowing that the user directly orders copies of its photos using Vista, with no need of additional software.

For the backoffice support, AG Sistemas developed the SCO (Orders Control System), that automates all the “plant” operation (photo laboratory), including the interface with the Agfa minilabs for full automation.
